Terms & Conditions
Welcome to PriceElasticityofDemandCalculator.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using this website, including our price elasticity of demand calculators, explanations, and tools (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1) What this service is
PriceElasticityofDemandCalculator.com is an educational and decision-support tool designed to help users explore how changes in price and quantity affect elasticity, revenue, and demand sensitivity. We implement standard economic formulas (including the midpoint/arc method and related variations) to provide fast, transparent calculations and summaries.
The Service does not provide regulated financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Outputs are models based on values you enter and general assumptions; they may not reflect your specific market, customer behavior, regulatory environment, or real-world constraints.
2) Your responsibilities
- Use the Service lawfully, responsibly, and for legitimate purposes only.
- Independently verify results before making pricing, forecasting, investment, reporting, or academic decisions. Treat outputs as guidance, not final truth.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, attack, overload, scrape at scale, or reverse engineer the Service or its underlying code and infrastructure.
- Do not use the Service to mislead clients, investors, or stakeholders by presenting outputs as audited, certified, or guaranteed.
3) Intellectual property
All site content, including layout, branding, copy, explainer sections, examples, and custom calculator UI and logic, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may:
- Use the calculator and explanations for personal, academic, or internal business use.
- Reference or screenshot results with proper attribution.
You may not systematically copy, clone, resell, or republish substantial portions of the code, UI, or content without prior written permission.
4) No warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that:
- Calculations, classifications (elastic, inelastic, unit elastic), or explanations will be accurate for your scenario.
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- Any defects will always be corrected immediately.
Economic outcomes depend on real-world behavior; no calculator can guarantee results.
5) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or opportunities arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
If our liability is found despite the above, it is limited in aggregate to the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
6) Third-party services & links
We may use or link to third-party services (for example: hosting providers, analytics tools, CDN, ad networks, or external educational resources). We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party sites or tools. Their terms and policies apply separately.
7) Changes to the Service and Terms
We may improve, modify, or discontinue any feature (including specific calculators, currencies, or explanation sections) at any time. We may also update these Terms periodically. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to highlight them on this page or via a notice on the site. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
8) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless mandatory local consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pakistan.
9) Contact
